On the Waterfront at Harborfields

What can you do at Harborfields?

The Dock is always a center of activity, for boating, fishing, swimming, or just having a party!

Boothbay Harbor offers great Sailing, and is the perfect jumping-off point for cruises up or down the Maine coast.

Bring your own boat! Subject to availability, guests may rent a mooring, or space at the dock. Nestled on the west side of Boothbay Harbor, around McKown Point and behind a substantial ledge, our well-protected anchorage still provides easy access to the rest of Boothbay Harbor, and the open ocean beyond. Boat launch ramps are located nearby on Townsend Gut and McKown Point.

Fishing for Mackerel and Striped Bass from the dock is an activity enjoyed by guests of all ages.

Rowing around the harbor is great fun. The island across from the dock is a popular destination. There is a Harborfields rowboat available for your use. Paddling in kayaks is another great way to see the harbor and islands.

The Rope Swing is a popular gathering place for the kids (and their parents) with a great view out on Boothbay Harbor.

The tidal beach in the Back Cove is a great place for kids (and dogs) to go Swimming.

Birdwatching can be rewarding!

The lawn is great for Kite Flying, but perhaps best of all is to just sit and Relax, with a cup of tea and a good book!

Harborfields is also a great place to host a wedding or other event.

All this, and we haven't even left the Harborfields grounds yet!
There is still much else one can do in and around Boothbay Harbor!

By the way, since we're such a great base for boating activities, we do offer winter boat storage on a limited basis.
