1780 Farmhouse
The Thorpe Family's 18th century homestead, a lovely Cape Cod-style colonial with large central chimney, original pine floors, exposed beams and other authentic period details. Has woodstove with glass door insert in the main fireplace in family room and a Monitor heating system to take the chill off in Spring or Fall. Sleeps up to ten in five bedrooms.

Two full baths -- one upstairs with shower (fully renovated for 2014), and one downstairs with claw foot tub and shower.
The house also features a simple but complete "un-fitted" farmhouse-style kitchen (unfitted meaning that it does not have the built in cabinets and counters found in modern kitchens). It is supplied with a full array of pots, pans, dishes and utensils. Linens and towels are also provided.
A large covered porch and a secluded patio offer water views in two different directions. Guests have access to the dock, tidal beach and other Harborfields amenities, including a coin laundry. No TVs, radios, or telephones, but we do offer free WiFi internet access on premises.
Rates do not include the State of Maine Lodging Tax (9%)
Rates do include linens and towels, and utilities.
Rentals of Harborfields Cottages are subject to Terms and Conditions. A down payment of 25% of the rent is required to confirm a reservation; in the event of cancellation the down payment would be non-refundable unless we succeed in renting the cottage to someone else.
Pets are welcome, but with an additional fee of $100 per stay, and subject to additional Terms and Conditions.
